JEE Advanced 2013 Exam to be conducted on 2nd June, 2013

The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2013 is going to be conducted on 2nd June, 2013.  The JEE Advanced Exam 2013 is going to be conducted jointly by IIT-Delhi, IIT-Kanpur, IIT-Bombay, IIT-Kharagpur, IIT-Madras and IIT-Roorkee.  Only 1.5 Lakhs students who are qualified in JEE-Mains are allowed to take the JEE Advanced 2013 Examination.  The exam will be conducted in different centers as per the zonal IITs.

JEE Advanced 2013 Exam Pattern

The JEE Advanced 2013 Exam includes two papers.  Paper-I will start from 9:00 AM till 12:00 Noon.  and Paper-2 will start from 14:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs.  The examination questions will be of objective type in nature which are designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of the candidates.  Negative marking is there for incorrect answers.

The IIT Council is likely to declare the JEE Advanced 2013 Results on 23rd June, 2013 and the final ranks will be declared on 7th July, 2013.

UPSC Announces SCRA 2013 Results

The Union Public Service Commission, UPSC has announced on Friday 24th May, 2013 the results of the written test of the Special Class Railway Apprentices Examination 2013 (SCRA 2013).   

The SCRA 2013 written examination was conducted in 42 cities across India on 20th January, 2013.  Based on the result of the written test of the SCRA 2013 examination, some of the candidates were qualified for Interview / Personality Test.  The short listed candidates have to produce the original certificates in support of their claim of age, qualification, community and physical disability etc at the time of Interview.  


The results of the written exam can be checked at the UPSC website.


The shortlisted candidates must also fill up the Detailed Application Form (D.A.F.), which is available on the UPSC website, www.upsc.gov.in. The DAF will be available on the website of the Commission till 6 June, 2013 up till 11.59 p.m.

EAMCET 2013 Results to be announced on 2nd June, 2013

The AP EAMCET 2013 (Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) is conducted by JNTU, Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE.  Writing the EAMCET 2013 is compulsory for admissions into various professional courses offered in University / Private colleges in Andhra Pradesh State.

The EAMCET 2013 was held on 10th May, 2013 for admissions into Medical and Engineering Colleges for the academic year 2013-14.  The results of EAMCET 2013 will be released on 2nd June, 2013  as per the latest notification released by APSCHE.

The EAMCET 2013 results will be prepared electronically.  Lot of care is being taken to handle, check, grading and evaluating the OMR Sheets.  The ranking in EAMCET 2013 will be done on basis of merit which is calculated after giving 75% weightage to EAMCET 2012 marks and 25% weightage to the qualifying examination marks in category subjects.  The ranks are calculated by considering 25% weightage of marks secured in Internediate annual examinations and not the advanced supplementary exams.  The qualifying marks is 40 out of 160 marks.

As far as the Tie-Resolution in EAMCET 2013 Result is concerned, the tie resolution in case more than one candidate scores same marks will be done by giving preferences to the candidates on the basis of criteria shown below.
  • Total marks in EAMCET 2013 Exam
  • Marks in Maths in Entrance Exam
  • Marks in Physics in Entrance Exam
  • Percentage of aggregate marks in qualifying exam
  • The final criteria for tie-resolution in EAMCET 2013 Result will be the age of candidates in which the elder candidate will be given preference

The EAMCET-2013 Results will be in the form of merit lists of the candidates who qualified in the entrance exam. The rank is valid only for one academic year.  The candidates can download their EAMCET 2013 rank cards from www.apeamcet.org website. The rank of a candidate of reserved category will be invalid if at the time of admission any discrepancy is found with the proof of belonging to the category.

AP CEEP 2013 Results announced

AP CEEP 2013 Results - AP Polytechnic Entrance Exam Results 2013

 The Government of Andhra Pradesh conducts the CEEP ( Common Entrance Examination for admissions to Polytechnics) every year.  The CEEP Examination is conducted by the AP State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad.  The CEEP 2013 was conducted on 2nd May, 2013 for admission into all the Diploma courses in Engineering / Non Engineering / Technology offered at various Polytechnics or institutions in Andhra Pradesh.

The results of CEEP-2013 were announced on 17th May,2013 at the CEEP Official Website.   There are lot of websites providing the results of the CEEP 2013 examinations.

The SSC Exams ( 10th Class) 2013 of Andhra Pradesh were announced on 17th May, 2013.  The Andhra SSC Results 2013 are normally announced in the mid of May every year.  The AP SSC Results, are available in the SSC Board website.
