SBI Recruitment 2013 - Chief Technology Officer

State Bank of India (SBI) has recently issued a notification for recruitment of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on a contractual basis at its Global IT Centre in Navi Mumbai.  

The eligible candidates can send their applications on or before 7th December, 2013 by email and also the hard copy of the applications by 14th December, 2013.  

Age Limit: The minimum age should be 40 years and the maximum age limit for the candidate should not exceed 55 years as on 1.11.2013.

 

Educational Qualification: Candidates should be first class Engineering Graduate from a recognized University / Institution or an MCA from a recognized University / Institution. Post Graduation or higher qualifications in areas relevant to the role will be given preference.

Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in personal interview.

IBPS Specialist Officer 2013 Notification - Last date 14th December, 2013

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has issued notification for conducting the Common Written Examination (CWE SPL-III) for the recruitment of Specialist Officer Posts in various cadres like IT, Agriculture, Legal, Marketing, HR, Rajbhasha etc. in various Public Sector Banks.

IBPS Conducting a Common Written Examination (CWE SPL – III) for selection of personnel for Specialist Officer Cadre Vacancies in the following Public Sector Banks.

Age Limit: Candidates'  age should be minimum 20 years and maximum age limit should not exceed 30 years for Post No. 1 to 6 and minimum age limit should be 20 years, maximum age limit should not exceed 35 years for Post No.7 to 10. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualifications :  Candidates must possess Engineering Degree in Comp. Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 100/- for SC/ ST/ PWD and Rs.600/- for all others. Fee can be paid through online by using only Master/ Visa Debit or Credit cards or Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen.

Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in Online Common Written Examination (CWE) and Common interview conducted by the participating organizations and coordinated by IBPS.

After completing the procedure of applying online including payment of fees, the candidates should take printout of the system generated online application form along with registration number and password for future reference.

Madhya Pradesh to conduct Medical Entrance Exams through CBSE

In view of various scams occurred last year in the Madhya Pradesh Pre-Medical Entrance Test (MPPMT) examinations, the Director of Medical Education in Madhya Pradesh has decidd to conduct medical entrance examinations in the state through CBSE instead of State's Professional Examination Board (Vyapam).

The Director of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh said that they have decidd to conduct MBBS and BDS entrance exams through CBSE and the MDS entrance test through AIIMS from 2014 onwards.   As per the news headlines, he said that MPPMT has been caught up with scams from the last few years and even in 2013.
