The admission criteria for Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded technical institutions, Institutes funded by participating State Governments, and other institutes shall include the performance in Class 12 and in the Joint Entrance Examinations ( JEE Mains ).
The JEE Mains results were announced on 27th April, 2016. Now the CBSE 12th class results and the results of other 12th class qualifying exams of various boards are also announced, CBSE is now ready to declare the JEE Mains Ranks on 23rd June, 2016. The reason for the delay in declaring the ranks is due to the weightage for 12th class marks.
