State Bank of India is planning to recruit 514 Specialist Officers and the recruitment notification of SBI for Specialist Officers was issued recently.   The eligible interested candidates can apply through online from 8th October,2012 and last date for online registration is 28th October,2012.

Age Limit for SBI Specialist Officers Recruitment

A candidate wishing to apply for SBI Specialist Officers post should have completed at least 21 years and should be below 30 to 40 years for General Category candidates.  There is a 5 years relaxation in upper age for SC/ST candidates.  and 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates.  There is 10 years upper age relaxation for PWD candidates.

Educational Qualifications and Examination Fee

 The Candidate should have a Graduate Degree  B.Tech / M.Tech  / CA / PG  etc.  An application fee of Rs.500 for general candidates and Rs. 50 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.  The candidates should download SBI specialist officers challan form after getting online registration.

GATE 2013 dates announced, Girls exempted from paying the fee

GATE 2013 is conducted jointly by the IISC and seven IITs ( IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.   The score is used for admissions to various post-graduate programmes (eg. M.E., M.Tech, direct Ph.D.) in Indian higher education institutes with financial assistance provided by MHRD and other Government agencies.  The score may also be used by Public sector units for employment screening purposes.

HPCL recruiting Graduate Engineers through GATE 2012

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) is planning to recruit 250 Engineers through GATE-2013 examination.   The vacancies exists for Engineers in the disciplines of Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics&Communications and Instrumentation Engineering.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should  have passed the qualifying engineering degree in above mentioned disciplines ( full time regular courses only) from recognized Universities.   The General category of candidates should secure minimum of 60% marks and it is relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates.  The candidates studying in final year may also apply but they should be able to submit their degree certificates by 31st August,2013.  and the marks secured should be 60% or more upto last semester at the time of applying.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 25 years as on 30th June, 2013 for general category of candidates.  Age limit is relaxed for OBC, SC/ST and PWD candidates as per Presidential directive.

The last date to receive online applications is  14th February,2013.

EAMCET 2012 - Full fee reimbursement for first 10,000 rank holders

Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri N.Kiran Kumar Reddy has cleared about fee reimbursement for Engineering students.  He has declared that the first 10,000 rank holders in EAMCET 2012 will be given full fee reimbursement.  So the full fee reimbursement policy will be applicable to only students whose ranks are between 1 to 10,000.  The Government will bear the full fee for such students.

The students whose ranks are above 10,000 in EAMCET 2012 have to bear an additional burden of Rs.15,000 to  70,000 depending on the college fee structure.  These students will not get full fee reimbursement, as the Government has fixed the fee at Rs.35,000. Only that amount will be refunded.
