LIC Recruitment of Apprentice Development Officers - 2012-13

Good news for all those who are seeking Government jobs in India.  Life Insurance Corporation of India has announced recruitment of 5201 vacancies for the post of Apprentice Development Officers in the jurisdiction of various Divisional Offices under 9 different zones.   The eligible candidates may apply online from 22nd November, 2012 to 22nd December, 2012.

 LIC of India has announced recruitment of 5201 vacancies for the post of ADO's in their various zonal offices.  The candidates after final selection will be posted in the Divisional offices falling under the zonal office for which they applied.

 Job profile of Apprentice Development Officer


A short introduction of the Job Profile of Apprentice Development Officer in LIC is given below.

• Recruitment: It is managerial sort of a Job, and is primarily a Sales Supervision Job, where the ADO will have to recruit the Agents, that sells the Insurance to the people.

• Training:Apart from Recruiting agents, the ADO is responsible for giving the training to agents, so that they can Sell Insurance to maximum number of people.
• Pay Scale : Rs 11535-700(2)-12935-825(2)-14585-840(17)- Rs 28865 (Plus Allowances and Other Benefits)

Eligibility to apply for LIC ADO posts

 Age Limit: Candidate's age must be between 21 to 30 years as on 01-11-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per rules).

Educational Qualification: 

The candidate should possess a bachelor's Degree of a recognized University in India.  Preference will be given to those with Master's Degree in Business Administration in Marketing or Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from a recognized University in India.

The Selection Process for recruitment of ADO in LIC

The candidates are selected for ADO post by conducting an online written examination followed by an Interview.

• The online test is an Objective type of examination consisting of sections such as Test of reasoning, Numerical Ability, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, English language.  The duration of the test is 2 hours
• The candidates have to pass in each of the test to be considered for Interview.
• The successful candidates will be called for personal interview
• The online test is scheduled on 02.02.2013 and 03.02.2013

How to apply for LIC Recruitment 2013

Application fee : An application fee of Rs. 500 will have to be deposited in any State bank of India branch through a challan form, which can be downloaded after submitting online application.

Fees will be accepted only after the 2nd Day of Online Registration and must be deposited with in three working Days. Application fees can be deposited in between 24-11-2012 to 29-12-2012

Online Applications: Since Online Registration is must, so application will have to apply Online by submitting the Online Application form at the Careers page of the LIC's Offcial Website @  www.licindia.in/careers.htm

Applicants must note that Online Registrations can be done in between 22-11-2012 (Starting Date) to 22-12-2012 (Last Date)
